1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern the use of César — the personal assistant available at usecesar.com, chat.usecesar.com and in the César app for iOS (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use the Service.

The Service is intended for people aged 18 or over.

2. What César is

César is a personal assistant that acts on your behalf, with your authorization, over services you connect — such as email, calendar, contacts, files, tasks and finances — to organize information and carry out the actions you request. It uses language models (artificial intelligence) to interpret requests and produce answers.

Before carrying out sensitive actions (sending an email, changing an event, recording a payment, among others), César asks for your confirmation. You are responsible for reviewing those confirmations.

3. Your account

You can create an account with email and password, with your Google Account or with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. Notify us immediately in case of unauthorized use.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile (website or app). Deletion anonymizes your personal data and ends access; see the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Integrations and permissions

By connecting third-party services (such as your Google Account), you authorize César to access and act upon the data required to fulfil the requests you make, within the permissions you grant. You may revoke these permissions at any time in your profile or in the third-party service's settings. Use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms.

5. Credits and payments

Using César consumes credits ("Cesar Tokens"), charged according to the processing performed. When you create an account you receive a free starting balance. Additional credits can be purchased on the website (via Mercado Pago) or, in the iOS app, through an in-app purchase processed by Apple and subject to the App Store terms.

Credits have no monetary value outside the Service, are not transferable and are not refundable, except where required by law or by the policy of the store where the purchase was made. Prices may change; changes do not affect credits already purchased.

6. Responsible use

You agree to use César lawfully and in compliance with applicable laws, and not to use it for fraudulent or abusive purposes, to send unsolicited communications, to violate the rights of others, or to attempt to circumvent technical or security limits of the Service.

7. AI-generated content

César's answers are generated by language models and may contain errors or inaccuracies. They do not constitute legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Verify relevant information before acting on it.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its brand, software and design belong to César. The content you provide remains yours; you grant us the license needed to process it solely to operate the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

César is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that every requested action will be carried out without errors or that the Service will be available without interruption, and we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the Service or from actions carried out upon your confirmation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that applicable law guarantees you.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a risk to the security of the Service or of third parties. You may close your account at any time.

11. Changes

These Terms may be updated. Significant changes will be communicated in the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after an update implies acceptance of the new Terms.
